Emergency Resources

If you experience urgent or severe symptoms at any point before or after your surgery, seek immediate medical attention. Do not wait for a scheduled appointment if you are concerned about your safety.

Call Emergency Services (911) if you have:

  • Chest pain or difficulty breathing
  • Sudden shortness of breath
  • Signs of a blood clot (leg swelling, redness, or severe pain)
  • Heavy bleeding or uncontrolled pain
  • Loss of consciousness or confusion

Go to the Nearest Emergency Department if you experience:

  • Fever or signs of infection (increased redness, warmth, swelling, or drainage from the surgical site)
  • Severe or worsening pain not controlled by medication
  • Persistent nausea or vomiting
  • Any sudden or concerning change in your condition
